Are you passionate about CrossFit and eager to develop into a knowledgeable, confident coach? Our five-month internship program is designed to take you on a transformative journey through five levels of learning, equipping you with the skills and experience needed to thrive as a CrossFit coach.

This immersive program is perfect for individuals looking to deepen their understanding of CrossFit coaching principles while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, real-world gym environment.
Although the internship is unpaid, it offers invaluable mentorship, practical coaching opportunities, and the chance to grow alongside our dedicated team. Whether you’re taking your first steps in coaching or aiming to refine your skills, this program will prepare you for the challenges and rewards of leading CrossFit athletes.

OUR INTERNSHIP JOURNEY
Month 1
Shadowing - 4hrs of shadowing per week – this should include all types of classes and where possible fundamentals and PT sessions. This can be split through the week as you please but hours will need to be logged. ​​
Month 2
Demo's - Continue with shadowing but the coach on duty will now include using you for demonstrations during WOD prep and strength sessions. Ensure you are shadowing different coaches to gather a range of knowledge and skills from all. After a couple weeks you will be asked to deliver the demo - exercising your eye for points of performance for our fundamental movements.
Month 3
Whiteboard Brief - During your shadowing sessions you will deliver the whiteboard brief to the class. This should include what they are doing, what scaling options are available and asking if any questions or injuries.
Month 4
Coaching sections - The coach will give you pre-warning but you will be allocated an element of the class to coach, this could be the warm up / strength or WOD. Vary these throughout your sessions so that you get good experience in all elements.
Month 5
Coaching Sessions - You will start taking the full session under supervision from either Mike, Sherene or Rob. This is also the month to do your Level 1 Course, start checking out the dates – you’re about to fly solo.
